The Statewide Peer Mediation Conference – Celebrating 20 Years of Mediation in the Schools will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 at the University of Hawaii Manoa Campus Center.
It looks like we will be able to present Virtual Mediation Lab, a pilot project sponsored by the Association for Conflict Resolution – Hawaii Chapter. We will show how online mediation simulations via Skype can help peer mediators to:
- Practice and improve the mediation skills they learned during their training
- Be prepared for the toughest cases they may come across in real situations
In addition, we will also show how an entire group/classroom can observe an online peer mediation simulation for later discussion with their trainer.
